D. Thara, secretary-Department of Capital Development, MoHUA, called for project approvals to assess the additional burden developments create on drainage, sewage and civic infrastructure. She also proposed greater coordination between developers and municipal engineers and suggested pilot projects to quantify and mitigate such impacts.
